Superbowl XLI

So Adiel and I were some of the lucky fans to have gotten tickets to the SuperBowl!!! What a blast it was!!
Yeah, right. OK, that picture is from a Giant’s game we went to where they got blown out by the New Orleans Saints.
Here’s the real story: 
Adiel and I are always looking for an excuse to party, and the Superbowl presented a perfect one. Even though neither of us are crazy fans, we still wanted to find a place to watch and cheer. After making a dozen phone calls, Adiel realized that the closest kosher place that was doing it was Dougies’ in Queens. So we went there.
It was loads of fun. THe place was pretty packed and lots of people were cheering. There was an all-you-can-eat buffet which we both chose and definitely ate all that we could. There were two TVs and we had to manipulate the tables a little to make sure we could both see, hear and eat comfortably. We were going for the Chicago Bears and they scored only 14 seconds into the game!! The first half was very exciting with the ending being 16-14 at the end. I couldn’t believe that they were playing in the pouring rain!! The football kept slipping and it was fun. Lots of people were cheering. The ads were also cool but we couldn’t hear everything. Also there was this fat guy that kept getting up and blocking us.:(
The second quarter was more boring cuz Indianappolis was really in control. We left after the Bears threw an interception that the Colts transformed into a Touchdown. All in all, it was lots of fun and we ate very well too! I’m glad that we were warm and dry and not sitting in the rain either.
