I hate them. So much. I hate not being able to eat yummy stuff.
Adiel started the ‘Fit for Life’ diet where you eat fruit for breakfast and either carbs or protein for lunch and dinner. He’s really being good at it and inspiring me too do it too. But can you imagine not eating Pizza or spaghehtti and meatballs ever again?!
I want to lose weight, and need to in order to fit into certain things and qualify for the ultimate life insurance. So how do I go about doing it?
I want to excersice, but I am lazy and get tired easily. I’m hoping to do walking with a friend when the weather gets nicer. SR is already doing that — good for her! I downloaded a Cardio aerobics DVD but its hard and long and I just have little motivation to do it.
Now as for dieting: I am not a sweets or chocolate nut. Can forgo cakes, ice cream, chips, candies and nosh. I also can replace sugar drinks with water. And eat veggies. But I hate limiting real food. Don’t tell me I can’t make baked ziti and I need to leave the caeser dressing off my salad. I dont want to!!
So now what do I do?
Also – diets are almost impossible cuz every time I start one and go good for a few days, along comes our favorite day of the week – Shabbos!! Two fattening, delicious, l’kavod shabbos meals. And there’s no way I’m skimping on Shabbos. So my motivation topples down and I lose interest and its back to square one.
Plus, I am still a newly-wed and want to make my hubby happy, not to mention impress any visitor that might walk through the door. And the best way to do that is with some delicious, home-made, maybe-fattening food….
Ideas anyone? (And I’m hungry now).
