…the kids at work were nuts. I had to time out, seperate, threaten, sit down and reprimand almost every one of them. Yoga was draining as they all were making trouble. Finally, my long awaited lunch time comes. And we sit the kids down (after they ran down the halls and pushed each other first) and open up lunch. And it was supposed to be soup and sandwiches. The soup is so yummy and soothing and I was looking forward to it all day, as the prize for getting through the morning. Imagine my dissapointment when I instead found fishsticks and mashed potatoes. YUCH. I was starving, tired and needed some hot, delicious food. And there was none to be found around here.
So I took out the cell and dialed my best friend. And 20 minutes later Adiel walked into my classroom with hot chinese take-out. Sesame chicken with rice and an eggroll. Plus fortune cookies and a soda. All my coworkers were like ‘Awww’, but for me it was mamash a lifesave. I literally was in a different world as I sat in the room with the sleeping kids and slowly enjoyed each bite of my lunch, and even had some leftovers.
So this is my public thank you to my wonderful husband who so happily brought me a delicious lunch when I really needed it.
THANK YOU!!
(To the rest of you, sorry if you’re bored)
