Hi Adiel. I heard your radio gig live. I didnt know you were gonna be on even though Esther posted it ahead of time, because I’m on an h.com posting strike since I was ejected from the aishes chayil 5 weeks ago. (If you dont knwo about it, I guess your mods dont do a graet job keeping you up todate). anyway, I listen to NachumSegal ever night and was shocked to hear him talking to someone “Leebowitz” about the DVD, and suddenly I recognized your voice from the ShtarkRadio days! You did an AWESO9ME job. The DVD sounds AMAZING! I might just pick one up one day, since they dont sell it where I live.

We are aware that some customers are having issues with PayPal’s security settings. Make sure your browser is set to override cookie handling to let the credit card charge go through. Or if you are ever in the NY area, you can bring cash and pick it up from our location.
Mindy – i’m aware of your ejection from the A/C forum , but there is little i can do. a MAJOR rule was broken and since the mods are strong about this, you’ll have to demonstrate good behavior to earn your way back in by posting on the main board.

Yes, I also heard the interview. It was very cool hearing two people on the radio that I know, and unlike Hashfanatic’s comment, you didn’t sound like a total idiot. Not totally, anyway.

Received your Kosher Cooking DVD this week in Florida. This is an amazing & most informative DVD . I think the presenters should be ready for a call from the food channel to be on with Emeril, Daisy, Rachel, etc., or to be on their own, as Kosher Cooking is becoming very popular all over the country. The NY Times had a big spread on lotkes and other dishes for Chanukah.
4&1/2hour DVD, when can i find time to study it all ? The first 3 soups sound great. My wife’s chicken soup is almost exactly the same, except leg bottoms are used instead of bones, and dill & parsly are added & a whole parsnip (pepriska) is used instead of a small piece. The chick bottoms are removed before they fall apart, & used for a yummy chicken salad.
What is missing is the Knaidlach for the soup. Very easy to make with matza meal, egg , & chick fat. The kids want the Knaidlach all the time & it can be made as floaters or sinkers which I like.

I must tell Nachama Katz that she has outdone herself with her professional presentations on the Everyday Kosher Cooking DVD. I don’t know if she mentioned the wonderful catering service that she runs with her husband and family. Elite Caterers ,Doughty Blvd, Inwood LI,NY
I had to get this plug in, as her foods are great.
In cholent, I remember an added ingrediant was helzel, which was stuffed with much the same that is used in kneidels.
Just saw Kosher Cooking Bloopers on the internet. Now I know why the DVD came out so good. It didn’t show any of the mistakes. How many retakes were needed?
Finally found how to get the hard copies on my computer. Now I can print out the recipies and keep them in my pocket instead of constantly going back to the DVD.
