Recipe for Humble Pie
1) Think of an idea thats genius!
2) Convince newlywed wife to take wedding monies and invest.
3) Plan out all the work and bring idea to life!
4) Discover that the world isn’t ready for your genius.
Mix well and bring back to newlywed wife who expects good ROI now that offspring has arrived (woo hoo).
Eat double portions when your sponsor can’t sell ANY when more than a few thousand customers parade his store daily.
Store the leftovers away from others in a large containment unit and continue to eat until your true genius is discovered.
I’m so sorry :(.
Truth be told I’d love to buy one, and Im sure a few dozen people in willy would buy them too, but alas DVDs are not sold in Willy. Can I send ya a money order and you’ll ship me one? Dh doesnt like me using the credit card.

5) Two years later the product is sold out and wife and child(ren?!) move to new mansion! :).
I agree with ESP, a lot of things take time to get big. For just two months, we’re doing just fine.
6)Remember, the supermarket isnt always the place people go to buy DVDs!!

it’s all about the advertising kiddo! You’ll make it come to life once you have enough saved to make a big advertising blitz!

Not my fault, I’m a proud owner of EKC! The rest of the world is just dumb, they don’t realize how well done it is… silly people, well what can you do…

There is NOTHING like failure to make you stronger and build up your character. It’s exactly that loss that will give you resolve to succeed the next time and there HAS to be a next time because this experience was so GOOD, the end result was excellent. You think Spielberg was born with success on his chest?? I wonder how many failures he had before he made $$$$. Even Trump had gone bankrupt before he came back stronger….
Keep on truckin….

I agree with C & M. Advertising is the name of the game. Nothing sells if people don’t know about it. One or two ads won’t do it. It has to be advertised in places where cooking diehards hang out!
You have a great product–don’t be discouraged. The leftovers won’t spoil.

I agree with Rmm. I’ve been eating humble pie for years now. In a few different flavors too! This too shall pass. One day buddy,we’ll be chillin’ around the Shabbos table laughing at how worried we were…
